Product Design competition BRUNO 17.05.2026
Product Design Award BRUNO
The Product Design Award BRUNO is given for an outstanding product or product series created either on the designer’s own initiative, as a team effort, or as a commissioned project by a manufacturer or client. Products eligible for evaluation include production-ready prototypes created within the last two years, industrially manufactured products, or reproducible product series.
Applications may be submitted for works created by companies registered in the Republic of Estonia and/or by authors who have permanent residence and valid residence and work permits in Estonia.
The jury evaluates the product based on explanatory photos and a video. An international jury will select, via online review, the works that advance to the second round and will be exhibited at the BRUNO Product Design Award exhibition during the Design Night Festival (September 28-October 4, 2026) at Põhjala.
Applications close on 17 August 2026 at 23:59. All submitted works will be published online on 18 August 2026. The works selected for the second round will be announced on 14 September 2026. Nominees and winners will be announced and awarded on 2 October 2026 at Põhjala during the Estonian Design Awards Gala.
Jury is international. Head of the jury: Tom Lloyd (UK)
Other jury members: Isabelle Verilhac (FR), Terry McStea (UK), Jaume Domenech (DE).
The jury begins its work on 18 August and completes the evaluation on 14 September. All works advancing to the second round will be exhibited at the XXI Design Night BRUNO’26 exhibition at Põhjala. The final list of second‑round entries will be published on 15 September.
